Who? For ALL Students entering 6th, 7th, or 8th grade, Fall 2013.

What? Prepare for the rigors of Algebra I in the Fall 2013 by mastering Pre-Algebra concepts through the Scottsdale Education Center’s (SEC) Algebra 1 “Ready” Class individualized for Rancho Solano.Intense review of the concepts needed for success in Algebra I (normally covered in Pre-Algebra) including, but not limited to: One & multi-step equations, word problems, simplifying expressions and scientific notation, roots, factoring polynomials, fractions, decimals, percentages, linear equations, data analysis and probability, order of operation, and basic geometry. *To realize the full benefit of this class, students are expected to be present for 100% of the time. Make-up sessions may be required* HOMEWORK WILL BE ASSIGNED AND REVIEWED DAILY
